I have been Hayward’s City Manager since May 2010; although I have been in this office since 2006 as Assistant City Manager and occasional Acting City Manager. I graduated from California State University-East Bay with a B.S. in Urban Ecology and from Golden Gate University with an MBA; and I am a Credentialed Manager through the International City/County Management Association (ICMA). I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, having served in Colombia S.A. I am honored to hold the position of City Manager here in Hayward, California.
